What is censorship????
Censorship is the control of the information and ideas circulated within a society.

In the 20th century, censorship has been achieved by removing access to books, plays, films, television and radio programs, news reports, and other forms of communication. Removing access to these forms of communication has been done for the purpose of changing or suppressing (ending) ideas found to be unpleasant, harmful or offensive.

Totalitarian governments use extreme forms of censorship as a way to limit information to its people.
A totalitarian government will censor any information that makes them seem bad, and only allow people to see information that makes them seem good.

Censorship comes in many forms. Read the examples below.
